Holiday Closures 2024 - Shipping from Germany

Please be informed that our fulfilment centre will be closed on the following dates due to public holidays. If your order cannot be shipped on these days, rest assured it will be dispatched within the next 1 - 2 working days.

Holiday Closures 2024 - Shipping from Thailand  

3 June 2024: Please be advised that our Thailand fulfilment centre is closed on 3 June to observe a national holiday. Orders placed on 1 - 3 June that require shipping from Thailand will be dispatched from the warehouse starting 4 June. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

6 May 2024: Kindly note that our Thailand fulfilment centre will be closed on 6 May in observance of a national holiday. Orders pending dispatch from the warehouse will resume processing for shipping starting 7 May. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

1 May 2024: Please be advised that our Thailand fulfilment centre is closed on 1 May to observe a national holiday. Orders placed on 30 April that require shipping from Thailand will be dispatched from the warehouse starting 2 May. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.


Regular shipping times

7 - 14 working days via Standard shipping method

While most orders are shipped from Germany, we sometimes have to dispatch orders from our fulfilment centre in Thailand if the products are exclusive to that location. These orders will take an additional 5 - 8 working days of shipping time compared to the advised duration above.

The advised time scales can also be extended due to circumstances beyond our control. If you need your products in a hurry or have any questions regarding shipping, please contact us after having a read through the information on this page.

Express shipping method is not available.


Customs and Duties Charges

Orders shipped to countries outside the EU may be subject to import VAT.

Customs policies vary widely, with customs or import duties being charged once the order reaches its destination country. Because of this, VR Cover unfortunately cannot be held responsible for any additional charges. Please be aware of any additional fees your local customs office may charge before placing your order as we cannot mark your orders as a gift to bypass customs.

If additional fees apply for your package, they are usually collected by your local postal service provider, so check their tracking page or contact them directly for advice on payment. Beware of phishing scams that claim to be the postal service asking for payment.


Tracking and Delivery 

We will send you emails to confirm your order and notify you when your order has shipped. 

Order Confirmation Email After you have placed your order, we will send you an email confirming the purchase.
Shipping Notification with Tracking Information

When the package has been dispatched to the carrier, you will receive an automated notification containing the tracking number and link. This notification is normally emailed within 2 working days of the order being placed.

Different carriers are used for the first and last mile delivery. The initial shipping information for your tracking number is shown on the websites of the carriers such as Deutsche PostDHL, DPDGLS and Hermes.

If your order was dispatched from Thailand, the shipping confirmation email will contain a link to AfterShip where you can track the delivery. 


Deutsche Post DHL updates: What they mean

On the tracking number: These item numbers do not correspond to any of DHL Parcel’s valid item search formats.


The posting of the item was announced to Deutsche Post by the customer on (DD.MM.YYYY).
While the carrier has collected the package, the information has not been uploaded onto their tracking page. It can take an additional 2 - 3 working days for an update to be displayed.

The shipment was sent from the country of dispatch.


The item was handed over to the International Logistics Center on (DD.MM.YYYY) to be forwarded to the country of destination. Further information is also provided by the website of the country of destination. 
The package has departed for the destination country. The local postal tracking link may be given in the tracking history on the page.
Delivery was not possible. The recipient will get a notification with information on where the shipment item will be available for collection. The package will be left at the nearest post office branch or service point for collection. If there is no notification in the mailbox, contact your post office with the tracking number for more information.
The shipment item has been delivered to a service point. Your package is ready for collection. You can look up the address of the service point on the local postal service website using the tracking number or contact their customer service.


Frequently Asked Questions

What is my tracking number?
The tracking information is included in the automated shipping notification. Be sure to check your spam folder in case it has ended up there.

Where can I check the tracking?
The shipping notification email has a clickable link that will take you to the tracking page on sites such as Deutsche Post, DHL, DPD, GLS, Hermes and AfterShip.

As your local postal service provider is the last mile carrier, you can also look up delivery updates on their website with the same tracking number.

Why am I not seeing tracking updates?
Packages are picked up daily by the carrier but they are not scanned upon collection. There will be several days between updates as the packages wait in queue at each checkpoint.

The carrier can open an investigation if the tracking does not update for 14 consecutive days, so please reach out to us when 14 days have passed with no new information about the shipping status and we will help submit a formal enquiry to them. See our Non-Delivery policy on when a reshipment is possible.
