Order Processing and Shipping Update

Year-end holiday season 2021: We are advising customers to shop early this holiday season to avoid shipping delays. While there is no guarantee for delivery by or on a particular day, the below guidance is recommended to receive the delivery by Christmas.

29 October - 1 November 2021: Due to a public holiday weekend in Germany, orders placed on 29 October to 1 November will be processed by the local fulfilment centre on 2 November onwards when they return to normal operating hours. Customers can expect to receive the shipping and tracking notification after 2 November once the information is available.


Regular processing time*

Most orders are processed within 24 hours on weekdays after they have been confirmed. Orders confirmed on Fridays are processed on the following Monday or next working day.

Orders that are still being processed have not been shipped.

Shipments are sent via Standard service which uses a distribution network that includes the local postal service in the destination country.

Customs and Duties Charges

International orders MAY be subject to local charges.

Customs policies vary widely, with customs or import duties being charged once the order reaches its destination country. Because of this, VR Cover unfortunately cannot be held responsible for any additional charges. Please be aware of any additional fees your local customs office may charge before placing your order as we cannot mark your orders as a gift to bypass customs.

If additional fees apply for your package, they are usually collected by your local postal service provider, so check their tracking page or contact them directly for advice on payment. Beware of phishing scams that claim to be the postal service asking for payment.


Tracking and Delivery 

We will send you emails to confirm your order and notify you when your order has shipped. 

Order Confirmation Email After you have placed your order, we will send you an email confirming the purchase.
Shipping Notification with Tracking Information

When the package has been dispatched to the carrier, you will receive an automated notification from containing the tracking number and link.

Different carriers are used for the first and last mile delivery. The initial shipping information for your tracking number can be found on AsendiaDeutsche Post or GLS.


Deutsche Post updates: What they mean

Delivery information will be available once carrier has the updates.


The posting of the item was announced to Deutsche Post by the customer on (DD.MM.YYYY).
The carrier has collected the package but not scanned it. An update will be available when it is scanned at the next checkpoint.

The shipment was sent from the country of dispatch.


The item was handed over to the International Logistics Center on (DD.MM.YYYY) to be forwarded to the country of destination. Further information is also provided by the website of the country of destination. 
The package has departed for the destination country.
Delivery was not possible. The recipient will get a notification with information on where the shipment item will be available for collection. The package will be left at the nearest post office branch or service point for collection. If there is no notification in the mailbox, contact your post office with the tracking number for more information.
The shipment item has been delivered to a service point. Your package is ready for collection. You can look up the address of the service point on the local postal service website using the tracking number or contact their customer service.


Frequently Asked Questions

What is my tracking number?
The tracking information is included in the automated shipping notification. Be sure to check your spam folder in case it has ended up there.

Where can I check the tracking?
The shipping notification email has a clickable link that will take you to the tracking page found on Post or GLS.

As your local postal service provider is the last mile carrier, you can also look up delivery updates on their website with the same tracking number.

Why am I not seeing tracking updates?
Packages are picked up daily by the carrier but they are not scanned upon collection. There will be several days between updates as the packages wait in queue at their facility for departure to the destination country.

The carrier can open an investigation if the tracking does not update for 14 consecutive days, so please reach out to us when that happens and we will help submit a formal enquiry to them. In the meantime, we ask that you give it a bit more time and continue to check back the tracking page for an update. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
